He was the son of a Delhi police inspector and used to run a dairy farm. Police are investigating the incident and have sent five teams to search for the suspect.

A video taken of the assault by a bystander shows the victim on the floor after being beaten by the accused. Varun owned a dairy business and lived near the restaurant. His father was a retired Delhi police officer. The police have filed a case against the accused.
