The 7th Dehradun International Film Festival is going to be organized in Dehradun, the capital of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The event is being held from November 11 to 13 at Silvercity Multiplex in the capital of Uttarakhand, Rajpur Road in Dehradun, and Tula in Uttarakhand. The objective of the event is to showcase films relevant to the audience of Uttarakhand. So that here also people can be made aware of good cinema, which is generally not available in small cities of India.
The Founder and Director of the festival, Dr. Rajesh Sharma said that the Dehradun International Film Festival has been actively working for the last six years to promote good cinemas to the people of Uttarakhand. The festival is very popular among budding filmmakers, actors, and singers not only from Uttarakhand but also from neighboring states like Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi. Festival Begins With Film 83The 7th edition of the Dehradun International Film Festival begins on 11th November 2022 at 10 am at Silver City Multiplex on Rajpur Road with film 83 directed by Kabir Khan.
The highlight of Ranveer Singh starrer movies is that the film has been specially dubbed for visually impaired people. A special screening will be done for special people in collaboration with NGO Saksham. Saksham’s Honorary Founding Managing Trustee Rumi K Seth said that Saksham is working towards a sensitive and motivated society that recognizes the value of interdependence and appreciates the capabilities of persons with disabilities and voluntarily seeks equal opportunities for all provides. Its objective is to empower communities by creating multiple opportunities and platforms for visually impaired persons for their sustainable social upliftment.
